Camisola Dia de S. Valentim, do próximo ano (Next Year Valentine’s Jersey)

Por esta altura do ano, ando na azáfama de percorrer as lojas, em saldos, para comprar roupa, para a cachopa para o inverno seguinte.
Faço sempre isso, compro nos saldos de uma estação para a seguinte, calculando mais ou menos quanto é que ela irá medir. Não me tenho dado mal, porque a criança tem crescido lentamente. Tenho amigas que não podem dar-se a esse luxo, porque os seus rebentos crescem para lá de todas as expectativas!
Mas, a verdade é que, podendo fazê-lo, se poupa bastante!!
Ora, uma das camisolas que comprei foi esta:
By this time of year, I’m busy walking through the bustle of the shops, in sales, to buy clothes for my daughter for the following winter.
I always do this, buy the stocks from one season to the next, calculating roughly how much she will measure. This is being work ok, because the child has grown slowly. I have friends who can not afford that luxury, because their children grow beyond all expectations!
But the truth is, being able to do it, you’ll save a lot!
Anyway, one of the jersey that I bought was this:

Não faço ideia se é de rapaz ou de rapariga. As roupas de crianças (quando não são obvias, tipo da cor rosa) parecem-me sempre uni sexo.
Mas, de qualquer forma, resolvi acrescentar-lhe um embelezamento e pô-la mais à menina!
Utilizando este cortante da sizzix, cortei em 3 cores (em feltro): rosa, castanho creme e castanho escuro.
Separei as flores dos corações e sobrepus os três corações (pela ordem castanho escuro, creme e rosa) uns sobre os outros. Para se verem os três, tive que aparar, com a tesoura, o coração creme e o rosa.
Depois sobrepus as flores (as castanhas e uma rosa, e utilizei dois círculos rosa, restos de um outro cortante)
Em seguida cosi, à mão, na camisola.
I have no idea if it is boy or girl. The children's clothing (if not obvious, like a shirt in pink) seem to me always for both.
But anyway, I decided to add a girl’s embellishment!
Using this sizzix die, I cut in 3 colours (I use felt): pink, brown cream and dark brown.
I separated the flowers from the hearts and than super-imposed the three hearts (in the order brown, cream and pink) on each other. To see the three, I had to trim with the scissors, the cream and pink’s heart.
After super-imposed the flowers (I use only the dark brown flowers and one of the pink. I used, also, two pink circles, remains of another cutting) I sew them to the jersey (by hand).

Só depois de a ter feito é que me dei conta que na net, em todos os blogs, vai por aí uma febre por causa do dia de S. Valentim. Daí, o titulo deste post. :)
Entretanto no ‘Fórum Missangarte’ está a decorrer um concurso (até dia 10 de Fevereiro) de trabalhos alusivos ao S. Valentim e acho que vou lá colocar a camisola! :)
Only after I have done it, I realized that on the net, all blogsare talking about Valentine’s Day, hence this post’s title. :)
In 'Forum Missangarte' is running a contest (until 10 February) and the theme is Valentine’s Day so I guess I'll show the sweater! :)
